KOM Networks and Total Tec Systems Announce Strategic Partnership to Deliver Regulatory Archive Compliance for Small to Enterprise Markets

Total Tec Will Build, Deliver & Deploy KOMpliance Archive Appliance Solutions Based on HP Server Platform

KOM Networks, an innovative provider of Data Archiving Solutions and Storage Management software, today announced that it has partnered with Total Tec Systems, a leading systems integrator, to build, deliver and deploy KOMpliance Hard Disk e-WORM Archive appliances. Total Tec will build the entire KOMpliance Archive product line using KOM Networks’ patented KOMworx technologies and HP ProLiant server and HP StorageWorks products. The KOMpliance Archive appliance offerings scale from small departmental deployments like the KOMpliance Workgroup Archive, to the KOMpliance Small Business Archive, while larger enterprises can leverage the KOMpliance Archive Server and the KOMpliance Archive Gateway for iSCSI & Fiber-Channel SAN environments. The integration will take place at Total Tec Systems’ Edison, New Jersey integration facility, an ISO9001 certified facility for server and storage integration. The combined solution will enable customers to simplify the deployment and operation of consolidated storage and take advantage of compliance-enabling features such as enforced file retention, secure data shredding, SHA-256 digital signatures for data authenticity and AES-256 encryption for security.
